Robert (Bob) Lamb, Economic Development Director, Delaware County, was recently appointed Vice-Chair of the Professional Development and Education Committee by the OCMA Board at the October 12, 2017 board meeting. Mr. Lamb has served as Economic Development Director since August 2015. Prior to that, Mr. Lamb was Community & Economic Development Manager for the City of Upper Arlington. Mr. Lamb also served in various local government roles in the City of Glendale, Arizona. Mr. Lamb holds a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, a Master of Urban Planning and Development degree from Cleveland State University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Bowling Green State University. He also holds Certifications in Public Management and Lean Process Tools from Arizona State University and Lawrence Technological University respectively. Professionally, Mr. Lamb participated in the ICMA Leadership Program in 2015.
When asked why he is interested in becoming more involved with OCMA, Mr. Lamb said he is helping with the ICMA 2022 Welcome Group and he wanted to find other ways to contribute. Mr. Lamb views his involvement with OCMA as an opportunity to engage all stakeholders, look at issues from a holistic standpoint and help make OCMA a great organization.
